Our Story

Dedrone Defense is a subsidiary of Dedrone and offers a complete counter-sUAS technology platform, providing customized, end-to-end sUAS threat detection and mitigation capabilities for U.S. federal departments and agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense. From early warning detection, tracking, classification, and mitigation, Dedrone Defense provides a proven, industry leading system that protects critical assets, armed forces, or civilians from sUAS threats.

Meet the Team

Phil Pitsky

VP of Federal Operations

A U.S. Navy veteran trained in Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare, Phil served in multiple joint, fleet, and staff positions for the Navy and Intel Community. Combined with previous varying defense industry roles, he brings 20+ years of expertise in surveillance and reconnaissance in countering emerging threats.

Alex Morrow


Alex has led technology development efforts from low TRLs to fully fielded products for the past 15 years at Battelle, serving some of the most important U.S. government customers. In 2014, Alex helped identify the need for countermeasures to sUAS threats, which became the origin of DroneDefender, which was acquired by Dedrone in 2019.

Lisa Meserve


Lisa has led sales teams in technology startup companies since 2000. An Air Force veteran, she served the Department of the Air Force for 20+ years in uniform, as a contractor and as a civilian. She considers the opportunity to help to create the counter-sUAS market in response to the asymmetric drone threat to be the opportunity of a lifetime.

Josh Shaner


Josh brings 10+ years of experience leading defense missions as an intel officer and delivering tech solutions to the federal market. Before joining Dedrone, he led technical sales efforts to establish a U.S. defense presence for the largest cyber ops company in Israel.

Ryan Wogh

systems engineer

In 2017 Ryan joined the Dedrone team after spending nine years at Cisco Systems as a network and network security expert and consultant. Ryan is a Part 107 licensed sUAS pilot and has been the Dedrone federal test technical lead for all field testings since 2018.

Annaliese Yoder

Federal operations manager

As former civil servant, Annaliese has 10+ years of national security and foreign policy expertise. Prior to Dedrone, she served at the Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit, the White House’s National Security Council, and the Department of State.

Lieutenant General Keith Walker

Walker is the President at K.C. Walker & Associates and a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General. During his 38 years of government service, Walker held leadership positions in US Army.

Hon. Heidi Shyu

Shyu served as the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology and Army Acquisition Executive from 2012 until 2016.
